U.S. Farmed™ Certified
U.S. Farmed™ Certified is a third-party audited standard, created by American Farmland Trust (AFT), that verifies a product contains at least 95% ingredients grown in the United States. It's the only certification of its kind for consumer-packaged goods, giving shoppers a trusted way to know their purchase supports American farmers. To earn certification, a company works with AFT to confirm eligibility, then undergoes an independent third-party audit of its ingredients and sourcing.
A Milestone Worth Celebrating
Announced in February 2025, this certification made Sue Bee® and Aunt Sue’s® the first honey brands in the country to earn the distinction, and made Sioux Honey the second manufacturer overall to be U.S. Farmed™ Certified.
