Sharing Sweetness

Our Impact

For over 100 years, the communities where our beekeepers live and work have helped us grow. Sharing Sweetness is how we give back, one bottle, one donation, one neighbor at a time.

Sharing Sweetness is Sioux Honey’s charitable initiative, focused on fighting food insecurity and supporting the communities our member beekeepers call home. Through partnerships with food banks and retailers across the country, we’ve donated tens of thousands of bottles of Sue Bee® honey to families who need it most, and counting.

Only durable, stable claims live as static copy here — specific dated donations are handled by the post feed below (Section 3), so this page never needs manual updates when a new donation happens.

Honey For Hope

Honey For Hope is our ongoing commitment to partner with food banks and community organizations nationwide, providing honey as a shelf-stable, versatile source of nutrition for families facing food insecurity.

“Our beekeepers live in these communities, and they are some of the most lovable people you’ll ever meet. They’re all about sharing sweetness, so we decided to make this donation, our largest single donation ever, in their honor, to celebrate Sioux Honey’s beekeeper families.”

— Mark Mammen, President Emeritus, Sioux Honey Association

In Our Communities

Beyond food bank donations, Sharing Sweetness includes local support closer to home, including assistance for the Siouxland Warming Shelter in Sioux City, Iowa.
